What You Want To Become Depends On Your Willingness To Become It.

As you know, I get to help people cultivate their experiences, uncover the transformational principles that are hidden beneath the surface, and convert those principles into a message they can monetize. As an author, speaker, coach, and executive producer I understand the value of an authentic message. A story that is birthed by a major test that produces transformation.

My clients desire authentic encouragement, graceful accountability, and a safe space to develop their message, free from judgment. Ultimately, they want to use their experiences to empower others.
You might not know that in addition to coaching, I am a husband, a father, and the oldest of my parents four children. I believe that my family is the true expression of my purpose and assignment in action. Over the years I’ve helped my parents launch several soul-food restaurants and plant and lead a few churches. I also worked in the field of education for 15 years. I acknowledge that these are all avenues from which God has been able to get His work done through me. So, for me, platform building has been my lived experience. But it hasn’t been an easy journey.
I know what it feels like to choose audacious faith in the face of doubt, and to have the courage to be unapologetic and obedient to who God called you to be. Even when you are uncertain about your ability to perform or execute.

For a long time I wasn’t totally clear on my marketplace assignment. I hadn’t found my message. If I can be totally transparent with you, for most of my adult life I was operating off of pure talent and passion, but I didn’t have a distinct direction or a sustainable framework. I felt like I was grabbing for straws, trying to find what I had that others needed. Until one Sunday morning before church, in 2016, God prompted me to go on a prayer walk. So, I got dressed, plugged my headphones into my phone,
turned on the voice recorder app, and began recording myself pouring out my heart to God. Soon, my prayers turned into God speaking to me and laying out the vision and strategy for Kingdom Mogul Coaching.

After taking that prayer walk I was excited and nervous at the same time because I knew that I heard from God, but I wasn’t confident that there was even a market for people who wanted to be led by the spirit of God, to do the work of God in the marketplace, using Godly principles. I had no idea who my target audience was going to be. However, several months later God gave me an instruction through a trusted mentor that has carried me this far. He said, “Just share the message, and the right people will come and eat from
your tree.” Traditional business practices teach us to conduct market research to see if our product is even viable. But what do you do when you have a message that is pulled right from your experiences but it hasn’t been tested in the marketplace, and God gently nudges you to share it anyways?

That prayer walk prompted me to rise to a new level in my faith. It gave me the platform to get started, and I believed that if I consistently shared the message, the right people would find me. Talk about scary! But I refocused my thinking and embraced the opportunity to share my message unapologetically.

Since then I’ve been teaching the Kingdom Mogul message unapologetically. Whether through a speaking engagement, a group training, writing a book, the Kingdom Mogul Podcast, creating content for television, or hosting a monthly Kingdom Mogul connect meetup, there is always an opportunity to share the message. I’ve also had the pleasure of connecting with other kingdom-minded leaders from a myriad of industries. People just like you who want to show up strong in their area of marketplace influence, desire to be led by God, and add tremendous value to those they serve.

I know how important it is to invest in developing the skills to demonstrate my purpose and assignment effectively, so in addition to being led by Holy Spirit, I enrolled in the Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur Certification Program and did the necessary work to learn how to pair my natural ability of teaching, with the application of kingdom business principles. In the midst of becoming a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur Service Provider, God began downloading the vision for the Kingdom Platforms™ Coaching Program, a transformational experience for people who know they have a message and want to use it to create multiple income streams.

I’m still amazed that I get to use all of my spiritual gifts to empower others to live boldly in their calling. Seriously, from teaching, to giving a word of knowledge, from using discernment or taking a worship-break in the middle of a coaching session, to encouraging a clients’ faith, no gift is left out! And that’s what I enjoy most about my assignment, not only do I get to experience the unforced rhythm of God’s grace, but I get to teach others how to do the same in their life and business!
